Physiotherapy can help you with a variety of needs.

Our specialist team will listen to you and create an appropriate treatment plan to help improve your symptoms.

We can help to improve your quality of life by alleviating pain, discomfort and immobility. Treatments can include:

 

  • pain relief by techniques such as acupuncture
  • breathlessness and fatigue management techniques
  • maintaining or promoting independence by addressing mobility issues
  • exercise prescription and rehabilitation.

We can see you in a variety of settings, including your own home and at the hospice. We can also support carers by offering practical advice and emotional support.

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Will I have to pay towards my care?

All our services are provided free of charge. We rely on the support of our community to ensure we can continue to provide this service.

How do I leave feedback?

We work very hard to provide the highest standards of care and service to you, your families, and our supporters. However, we are aware that we may not always get it right.

Where can the physiotherapy team see me?

We can see you in a variety of settings, including your own home, at Ashgate Hospice’s Inpatient Unit and outpatient clinics.
