Ashgate Hospicecare is thrilled to announce that last year’s successful Care for a Cuppa fundraising campaign will return for a second year running.
The campaign, which raised over £20,000 last year by asking the people of North Derbyshire to host their own ‘Care for a Cuppa’ event throughout February, will start proceedings this Friday (19th January) with a special launch event held at the offices of our sponsor, Penk Insurance!
Christine Selden, Community Fundraising Manager at Ashgate Hospicecare, said “The success of Care for a Cuppa last year was fantastic. We hope that even more people will get involved this year as it is such a fun way to get people together and raise money for a great, local charity.”
Whether you organise a Coffee Morning with cakes or an Afternoon Tea with sandwiches and scones, your event will help to make a real difference to patients in the North Derbyshire area who are living with a life-limiting illness. You can hold your event anywhere; at home with friends and family, at work, at school or in a local community centre.
The money raised from Care for a Cuppa goes directly to patient care. Without the support from our supporters, we simply wouldn’t be able to help those who need it the most.
