The Winding Wheel in Chesterfield, North Derbyshire, is set to hold Last Night of the Proms with all proceeds going to Ashgate Hospicecare.
The event, which will be held on Saturday 27th October, will be hosted by the one and only Bernie Clifton who now lives in Barlow, Derbyshire.
Bernie said: “I can’t wait to host Last Night of the Proms for Ashgate Hospicecare and raise some vital funds for patients and their families across the region. I visited Ashgate Hospicecare only the other week and I got to see first-hand the amazing work they do on a daily basis. I said as soon as I left last time that I would be back and can’t wait for the event on Saturday 27th October. I promise you it will be a night full of great entertainment!”
The event is kindly sponsored by IKON Church and will include special guests the combined bands of Darley Dale and Sir Richard Arkwright’s Masson Mills.
Jack Wood, Events Manager of Ashgate Hospicecare, said: “Get your flags out and ready and put the date in your diary. This is a wonderful evening of family fun which everyone can join in with all whilst raising money for your local hospice.”
Tickets are now on sale for the event. Standard tickets are £12.50 including free Union Jack flags. Family tickets (two adults and two children) are £39.80.
