How getting involved helps

Events, campaigns and fundraising are fantastic ways to help us...

Ashgate Hospicecare's services are provided free of charge BUT we can only do this thanks to the generosity of our supporters. Whether you take part in one of our events, organise a fundraising event for us in your community, at your school or at your place of work, every pound raised will help our patients and their families. Laura Taylor-Bassett held a 'Care for a Cuppa' coffee morning at her local Slimming World and raised £77.21. This paid for a Hospice at Home visit (£75). Whittington Green School held a sponsored walk, raising £527.90. This paid for a patient to receive 24/7 care at the hospice (£347), a patient to attend the Day hospice (£138) and for a member of our Occupational Therapy team to deliver and install equipment in a patient's home (£38). Hannah Wilmot took part in our Sparkle Night Walk and raised £155. This paid for a pressure relieving cushion (£120), a pack of books for use with bereaved children (£24) and a walking stick to aid a patient with mobility (£10). You can make a difference...

Thank you!
