Ashgate Hospicecare are thrilled to announce that thanks to the amazing generosity of the Rotary Club of Matlock they have been able to purchase five recliner chairs for patients and their families at the hospice.

Ashgate Hospicecare is implementing precautionary measures including enabling most of the hospice’s non-clinical staff to work remotely and stopping any non-essential visitors from coming to the hospice to reduce the risk of coronavirus.
During March 2020, Ashgate Hospicecare is partnering with BRM Solicitors for Will Month who have kindly offered to waiver their fees for making a Will for a suggested donation to the local hospice.
The 2020 Markovitz Sparkle Night Walk is set to be even bigger and better and Ashgate Hospicecare wants you to be a part of it, for just £10, on Saturday 11th July. Last year’s event raised over £263,000 for patients and their families!
On Saturday 8th February, the #ChallengeDerbyshire Charity Ball held at the iconic Devonshire Dome in Buxton astonishingly raised over £200,000 on the night. This means #ChallengeDerbyshire has now raised over £1.1million in total!
Two weeks after Ashgate Hospicecare launched their new volunteer campaign, the hospice is excited to announce that they have recruited over 15 new volunteers, with the list continuing to grow.
Local builders’ and plumbers’ merchant M Markovitz Ltd have confirmed they’ll be headline partners for the Sparkle Night Walk in 2020 for a fourth year running as they aim to surpass £1 million raised for Ashgate Hospicecare.
