Our Donation Centre

Please note: We will be working to a daily stock quota to allow our team members to safely sort and store donated items, as all donations will need to be quarantined for a period of 72 hours before we are able to handle them. Please call ahead if you are looking to donate.

We rely on your donations to raise vital funds to care for our patients and their families.

You can donate any saleable items, such as clothing, household goods, furniture, collectables and anything else you can think of. It will all raise money for Ashgate Hospicecare.

Any item which is donated which cannot be resold has to be disposed of at a cost to the hospice. We are grateful for all donations, however, at the moment, we are only to accept items that can be resold in our stores and we are not able to accept items which we would usually recycle. Some examples of items that we cannot accept are:
  • Medical equipment
  • Suitcases
  • Carpets
  • Soiled or wet items
  • Broken items or items with missing parts
  • Microwaves
  • Safety equipment
  • Used duvets, pillows or cushions
