Public Speaker Volunteer

Volunteer – Public Speaker

Our Fundraising team are often asked to attend events and speak about the Hospice and care we provide. We are seeking confident and enthusiastic volunteers who can help extend our reach and enable us to accept more invitations to speak.

We are looking for volunteers who are able to attend local groups and speak publically about the Hospice. If you enjoy meeting new people, have good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a variety of audiences then this may be the role for you.  Some experience of public speaking would be beneficial.

As a Public Speaking Volunteer you will:

  • Represent the Hospice at various community and social groups
  • Give talks and presentations about the Hospice
  • Attend events and thank donors for their contribution
  • Encourage audiences to support the Hospice
